The Writing Continues
Greetings fans, today is Grounghog Day, sheesh! Who in their right mind would depend on an animal that's essentially an overgrown rat to decide if we'll have six more weeks of bad weather or not? Well, from my research it started in 1887 by a guy named Clymer Freas, who sold a group of businessmen and groundhog hunters, collectively known as the punxsutawney Groundhog club on the idea. Which to me is simple-minded. Why? Because they are only accurate about 70% of the time. Which isn't a whole lot. I say they're about even with the local weather forcaster. Anyway, it seems this tradition has taken off with people migrating from several countries to Pennsylvania to see what sayeth the rat! What do I think you ask? I think it's a bunch of nonsense. But people like it and that's that. Until next time, smooches!
Greetings fans, I've been so busy lately, I've barely had time to come here and post. I'm still plugging away on a story that was conceived ages ago called Rumor Control. The main character Archer Lincoln is special to me because he's a wounded veteran with anger issues. But that soon changes when he meets a woman that challenges him and makes him want more than he believes he's worthy of. I enjoyed writing this story and I had a lot of help putting it together. I'm going to give this book my best because it's one that's close to my heart. I've been working on it for over a year because it required some extensive research in order to get the details right. Anyway, with it nearly complete I'll be sending it to be edited and then the real fun begins. (I'm kidding) I'm putting my baby in very capable hands and I believe the lady will treat it right. So, that's it for now, I need to get back to the writing cave, so until next time, smooches!
Greetings fans! Today was a good day. I got some writing done and some ideas for future stories. I find that the ideas are coming much quicker than they ever had. And as I complete rewriting my book Rumor Control, I think about what I would like to tackle next. I'm thinking a western or paranormal would be next. I've got plenty of ideas, I'll just have to see where it leads. I admit, I love writing, it takes me away from myself and my humdrum existance. I've always been a dreamer and the characters I create lets me put those hopes and dreams on paper and enact it through them. It's really the only thing I want to do. In a few weeks I'll be headed to South Carolina for a Literary Affair with author Miz T and a hundred and fifty other authors. This will be my fourth event as an author. And I'm really looking forward to it. After that, it's on to Everette Washington for the BDSM Writers Con. Since I'd ventured into the forray of erotica, I've learned so much and have expanded my knowledge of the world of Domination, Sudmission and Sadomasochism and there's still so much more to learn before I even think about working on the third and final book to my Love, Truth and Consequences series. But in the meantime, I'm going to work on other projects and building my company. So, until next time dear readers: Live, Laugh, Love and Smile often-Taisha. Smooches!
